About the Journal
AL-USLUB: Journal of Islamic and Arabic Studies is an international peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly research in the fields of Islamic studies and Arabic language and literature. The journal serves as a platform for publishing original, high-quality, and interdisciplinary research that explores both classical and contemporary perspectives on Islam and the Arabic intellectual tradition.
Derived from the Arabic term al-uslūb (الأسلوب), meaning "style" or "mode of expression," the journal emphasizes linguistic, textual, literary, and stylistic approaches to Islamic and Arabic scholarship. It welcomes contributions in Qur’anic studies, Hadith studies, Islamic thought, Arabic linguistics, Arabic literature, stylistics, discourse analysis, translation studies, and other interdisciplinary approaches that enrich Islamic and Arabic studies.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, academic integrity, and methodological rigor. Published biannually in English by Bahtera Al Fikr Press, Part of Bahtera Studi Islam, AL-USLUB is committed to fostering international scholarly dialogue and promoting innovative research that contributes to the global development of Islamic and Arabic studies.
