Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Privacy Statement

Dialogues in Qur’anic and Hadith Studies is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all users involved in the journal’s publication process, including authors, reviewers, editors, readers, and registered users of the journal website.

The names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID IDs, and other personal information entered into this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal. These purposes include article submission, editorial communication, peer review, publication management, indexing, archiving, and scholarly communication related to the journal.

The journal will not use personal information for purposes unrelated to scholarly publishing. Personal data will not be sold, rented, exchanged, or disclosed to third parties without the user’s consent, except where required by law, publication ethics procedures, indexing requirements, or legitimate editorial and publishing operations.

Authors’ names, affiliations, email addresses, ORCID IDs, and article metadata may be published as part of the scholarly record after an article is accepted for publication. Reviewer identities are kept confidential in accordance with the journal’s double-blind peer review policy, unless disclosure is required by ethical investigation or legal obligation.

All users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide to the journal is accurate and up to date. The journal will take reasonable measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

By registering, submitting an article, reviewing an article, or using the journal website, users acknowledge that their personal information may be processed for the purposes of managing the journal’s editorial and publication activities.
