Author Guidelines
Manuscript Format
Manuscripts must follow the formatting standards of the Journal of Interdisciplinary Qur’anic Studies (JIQS). The header should include the journal volume, issue, month, and year of publication, as well as the editorial office, website link, and contact email (jiqs@bahsisfikr.or.id).

Font: Times New Roman
Size: 12 pt
Spacing: 1.5
Margins: 2.54 cm
Article Length: 6000–8000 words
Language: Standard and academic English
Citations: American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition (in-text citation)
Author Identity
The names of authors should be written without academic titles. Each author’s institutional affiliation and country must be listed. The corresponding author should be indicated with an email address.

Abstract
An abstract must be provided in English. It should summarize the research objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions.
- Length: 150–250 words
- Written in a single paragraph
- Include 3–5 keywords (lowercase, separated by commas)
Introduction
The introduction should present the research background, problem statement, and objectives. It must clearly highlight the research gap and novelty, supported by relevant literature. The research objective should be explicitly stated at the end of this section.
Method
This section must provide sufficient detail to allow replication. It may include:
- Participants or data sources
- Research design (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods)
- Instruments and data collection procedures
- Data analysis techniques
Authors should present the method clearly and systematically.
Results and Discussion
Results should be presented clearly and concisely, focusing on key findings. The discussion should interpret the results in relation to research objectives, compare them with previous studies, and highlight their contribution and novelty. Authors should also address implications and limitations where relevant.
Conclusion
The conclusion should directly answer the research objectives and emphasize the contribution of the study. It should not merely repeat the results but provide justification of the study’s significance and suggest directions for future research.
References
References must follow APA Style (7th Edition) and be listed alphabetically. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.

Transliteration
Arabic transliteration should follow standardized academic conventions:

Template and Submission
The JIQS article template is available for download on the journal website. Authors are required to use the template for submission.
All manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Authors should ensure that the manuscript has been anonymized for the double-blind peer review process.
