Authors who publish with the Journal of Interdisciplinary Qur’anic Studies (JIQS) agree to the following terms:

    Authors retain the copyright of their work. However, authors grant JIQS the right of first publication of the article.

    Articles published in JIQS are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly cited.
  3. Author Rights
    Authors are permitted to:
    • Share and distribute their published articles (e.g., in institutional repositories or personal websites)
    • Reuse parts or the whole of the article in future works, provided proper acknowledgment of the original publication in JIQS is given
  4. Third-Party Content
    Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material (figures, tables, or data) from other sources.
  5. Plagiarism and Originality
    Submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. Any form of academic misconduct will result in rejection or retraction.
